SMILE toolkit

The SMILE project has generated a SMILE toolkit stemming from the enhancement of the English Kitchen format.

You can either download all the SMILE Modules, the Practical Toolkit and Student Workbook or else download the individual modules below.

Module 1: The bicycle (basic vocabulary, grammar)
Module 2: Flat tyre! (vocabulary, the imperative)
Module 3: I’m ready to ride my bike!!! (action words)
Module 4: What can you make? (making things, interaction)
Module 5: Traffic and road signs (directions)
Module 6: Memory and places (vocabulary consolidation, past tense)

The SMILE project stems from “English Kitchen”, a successful teaching format created by ReBike ALTERmobility and adopted in local schools since 2014.

Strengthened cooperation between school teachers and non-formal educators has been one of the most important results of this project, appreciated by both teachers and pupils.

Thanks to Erasmus+, the good practice of English Kitchen can be exported to other European countries and enhanced through cooperation with partners, who will jointly develop the new SMILE toolkit ….
